Kristen Johnson - Brand Design
I worked closely with Kristen Johnson while she was a marketing manager at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, so I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to design her logo for her web design and marketing business. Kristen wanted something that would communicate simplicity, professionalism, and tie in with her personal style. Her goal was straightforward communication with her audience of small business owners and non-profit organizations; what you see is what you get.
I always start with a questionnaire, research, and mood boards for my logo designs so that I can get a strong grip on what is out there and what the client wants the end result to feel like. Once we landed on a direction, I provided three logo concepts and Kristen was automatically drawn to one. We had a winner! After some small edits I solidified a color scheme, brand fonts, and different lockups for her to use on her website and other materials. Kristen is an incredibly talented, kind, and helpful web designer and I highly recommend her if you are in need of a new site or refresh.
